Tear

Like rhythmic rain they fall cold against my raw skin bitter across my chapped lips like words of hate and anger poisonous to my young life wounding my ragged heart tearing apart my lost soul constrained and contained to the glass prision bottled up and trapped by my thumb pressing down keeping them hidden with a false smile My clamped teeth bite back the screams of defeat my shirt soaked with rain and tears my body aching from the internal fighting of man versus self
