Team West

By: K. Eastman

Maybe its stupid but ok cupid,
that's where it starts and its all part
Conversations long but you sang me that song.
Am I wrong?

All my life I was trying to hide
but you want to take me on some carpet ride!?

Four hours of coco,
They thought we were loco
but we didn't care, no
just you and me there though.

My feet, they were stumbling
and maybe words I'm mumbling
This pen to my paper
My hands are fumbling

Listening to the rhymes
you're spitting all the time,
I'm learning what you been through
I know I was ment to...

What seemed like just a rhyme
but when I took my time
I soon realized
my skills are just fine.
Reading this word flow
just know that I'm here though

Ink is not a part of me,
If it sparkles it must be.
You asked if there were just three
but I cant wait for you to see,
there are three in each ear, one in my nose and three more under my clothes.

I know youre a fighter,
a fighter I'm not,
my intentions are good
dont let me be misunderstood.
You captured my heart
from the very start.

Don't make this lighter
I'm patiently waiting
our first all nighter.
Theres no reason to fight
I want to love you right

It's all very clear
I wish you were here.
From the East to the West,
Baby, youre the best.

They say it takes a minute to win it
It took a hot minute to spin it,
but baby Im in it to win it

This is straight from the heart
I love who you are.
