Notes About The Poem

We long to escape the umbrella of this global illness, the angst, the fever of claustrophobic fervor. We want to experience precious life and breathe freely.

Teal Jewel

my mind
travels over land,
in search
of the Caribbean seas,
the teal jewel my dream.
i close
my eye and feel
sweet ebb and flow,
the tarry of yellow sun
and silky waves,
the sliding
of the precious sand.
oh what time
does wipe from my brow.
                                         i weep.

Time is precious not one moment can be wasted - let us hope that a vaccine will be found soon. Blessings, Jennifer.

Yes! We give thanks to God for all we have is from his hand. When it is pulled away from time to time , we see what we have taken for granted. Recently had a water pipe break. Thank the Lord it was before all of this! Be blessed, dear one!

It is hopeful and yet sad; I know two teachers who had to cancel their travel plans for next week. One had to cancel a trip to Italy! Keep reminding us Kim of how precious time is.

So precious. And we must look to what is truly important. All else is but a lavish gift! Love ya...Kim
