Teaching Kids To Drive
Parents, teach your kids to drive
At a very young age
My insurance keeps going up
But not minimum wage
I take care your kids
Well, they are almost adults
At least in my house
They aren't joining cults
I spent most tonight
With some more adopted teens
Their parents bailed on them
They just want to learn to drive it seems
My children learned young
From the time they could walk
All it takes is time and patience
I calm soothing voice when you talk
These kids are almost twenty
Come knocking on my door
"Mom, teach me to drive
I can't wait for mine anymore"
Nerves are shot
I'm tired from working all day
But we loaded up
And were on our way
Kids need love
No matter what the age
They will run the earth
We just need to set the stage
