Tea With the Monster
Only as high as his knee
She invited him to tea
He could see her inner beauty
For she was only three
He was gentle as he could be
As he drank his imaginary tea
They shared unspoken pleasantries
Enjoying this sunny morning tea
She patted his hand and he could see
The pure love of this child of three
No scars or anger could she see
Only his inner beauty
