Listen to poem:
Like expensive paintings, today’s tattoos,
are phantasmagorical works of art.
And unlike traditional blacks and blues,
they use color and shading from the start.
It's worth a little clenching and wincing,
to achieve light and shadow interplay.
They're so realistic and convincing,
tats are on another level today.
No longer fading away like a bruise,
indelible inks, ink modern pieces.
And talented artists merge with their muse,
creating splendorous masterpieces.
Body adornment’s a cultural fad;
human canvases seek to be unique.
And wear ink with pride as if armor-clad,
displaying an artist’s latest technique.
