Taste, Middling Mediocre

Words that do not speak to me
Fine poetry may very well be

     My taste, middling mediocre
       No literary bona fides

Everyone has their own unique style; some hide in words while others just speak. Celebrate your uniqueness!

You've proven yourself realistic, profound, artistic, clever and funny. If others say otherwise, then I'm their adversary. Saluti Gershon!...ab

Anselmo, I'm offering you a job, perhaps a career: Your task, to salivate and slobber over every single stupid line of poetry I write. No exceptions. Your salary - Glory, Glory, Glory, as the Contest Sponsors write. I await your decision. ~ Not holding my breath, gw

I love this, gw. Going straight to my FAVES. I can relate. OTOH, I don't think your tastes are mediocre; after all, aren't you a graduate of Dartmouth????? No mediocre there!

Gosh, thanks for the FAVE, Milt. Deeply appreciated... As for Dartmouth, that was five decades ago; it was soon forgotten (and now is long-forgotten). Thanks again, gw
