Tapestry Replenished

Sure, enough; they'll be leaving.
One by one, by one by one.
Leaving a steady stream of grief.
Leaving pinprick holes in the heart.
The tapestry of the soul.
These infinite waves of grief have no mercy for a thinning beach.

One day soon enough it'll be my turn.
To leave behind this timeless stream...
I pray the foundation is restored
the tapestry replenished.
