Tanks "Da Tanks, da Tanks." The President is not Chairman Mao. Come on now! Gads, what an ungrateful nation! Perhaps haughty Don Lemon or that court jester, Jim Acosta, Two snobby nobodies behind a mike, turning brains to mush every night, Could please each American just right? Go online tomorrow, you will find how many presidents used tanks and fly-overs. The list is long, we are not Tianimin Square! But CNN and MSNBC, masters of disinformation, Make you think so! Truth to them is totally cracked and libelous information. Such elitism, and political bigotry! With utmost conceit will not cover the DC events. But! Will have proponents of abortion on most happily. Killing babies is OK, don't you see? JFK, oh, so revered, had tanks too! And Fly Overs are happening, even at football and baseball games. And many civic events, yes! So stop the hysteria over this bizarre craziness. Our country, our values are being shredded. Like the cheapest Wal-Mart lettuce. Wake the heck up! Obama had more than enough sense to have TWO Betsy Ross flags behind him at BOTH of his inaugurations. Nobody said a word. Huh? MSNBC, you all,just compared the Betsy Ross flag to a Swastika? Heidi, the way it was pre-cast, one expected ~ A communist Parade with tons of tanks and military. There was one stationary tank, and no long. blocks of soldiers.. See Richards comment. He hit the nail on the head, it indeed was an event for the country not for the Presidet himself. Bitterness from the left won't win the next election. ))) it will be a riot here till 2020. I am not a Trump fan but I give him credit for not making the celebration into a campaign event. We can use a lot more kind words from Democrats and Republicans. Being Canadian the current political environment in the US is concerning. No one seems to be seeking middle ground.

Yes, Richard I know your position on President Trump, and appreciate your honesty without viciousness. I, too, agree that the 4th was exactly as you called it. It amazed, me, honestly. Don't judge us all, please by the media.Oh the sensationalism, Richard is abhorrent. The pinheads on TV are not us. Nor are hateful mobs. We do what we can, eh? Yes,there is a history of why this is so. But we seem to think poetry is only about the earth or birds. Nonsense. The greatest poets were very political. If you want everyone here to love you for your poetry and hide politics, then it's a popularity contest. Same for me. I am not one able to hide things just to be accepted and Yaa for that. Poetry of platitudes with no feelings means nothing to me. Why not be real? Being the genuine you? Think about it. People listen Poets have used their pens to effect history. People can handle it. They really are amazing. PR
