Tanka

Tanka
When utilities
Are privately owned
We are prisoners
Caught in a web of avarice
Capitalism gone viral

Senryu
On the opposite wall
The sun shines bright and summery
Typical!

Words.
When I speak
I get lost in the fog of words
When alone
I can see forever

Jan - The last one is a corker. (I don't know what a corker is - but it seems to fit). It is pure Jan Oskar. I love all three. "Capitalism Gone Viral" has you written all over it too. I am Catholic (not as Catholic as I used to be -- but it always has hold of me) and I take no offence at your poem. love, Kathy
