Tangled Vines

Tangled Vines
Attached to my broken heart
Decapitated my mind
And left my thoughts in the dark.

Tangled Vines
Wrapping around my heart
Abusing my precious love
and shooting it with a dart.

Tangled Vines
Swinging down from the trees
Hallucinating my mind
and obliterating my dreams.
Squeezing out all my thoughts
Erasing my memories
Pounding against my heart
And scratching my arteries.

Tangled Vines
Stabbing deep in my heart
Grasping my soul and mind
And tearing my body apart.

Tangled Vines
Eventually ate my heart
Taking away my kindness
And replacing my heart with tar.

Tangled Vines
Cut so deep in your mind
They grow inside your body
And drain the blood inside.

Tangled Vines equals new construction
But once it hit your mind
Its totally mass destruction.

Tangled Vines
represent the growth of a young man
And for you to understand my story
Than you'll have to read the palm
of my hands.
