Tammy Sue
The blue twin headed elephants you knew,
Met them in a bar,
One night,
In a fight.
Neither one of which,
Knew what to do.
Tammy was a pacifist.
Sue loved a good fight.
Each had to go home,
With the other at night.
Their various beliefs,
Caused such a fright.
Both began to,
Pull their hair out at night!
Oh Tammy Sue,
Oh Tammy Sue,
What will you do?
When the police come for you!
Every night you have a fight,
Now your neighbors are up all night!
Can you not see,
How easy it would be,
To curl your trunks in,
Underneath your chin?
Have a peanut or two,
And say you are through!
No more fights at night!
Perhaps you could take a flight,
See the world,
Eat peanuts on a ship.
Or walk about,
Quietly living,
Which is what you could shout!
No arguments here!
No fusses to be had!
Very nicely living,
Very quietly to bed!
