Tall Tales
Oh, I shall tell tall tales today,
Full, great, big bushy lies.
A hairy tale, a scary tale,
All covered in disguise.
Just lying there, soon to ensnare,
A snake to give one fright,
But when my grandchild grabs at it,
It moves, to her delight!
Something’s amiss, this shaggy tale,
You’re starting to surmise.
If I misspelled a tale today,
Would you be none-the-wise?
