Talking Smooth
Your sweet face always aglow
Is it for real or is it just a show
A small slip up or an unfolding mistake
this feeling of mine, I cant seem to shake
You feed me one of your compulsory lines
that I haven't believed the last dozen times
is deceit and lies all your bringing?
Because your words have alarm bells ringing
I don't mean to just presume
Your words are lies I just assume
a pretty voice designed to sooth
seems to me your just talking smooth
