Talk To You

I see you standing there in the corner watching me.

I want to walk over there and talk to you but I cannot bring myself to do it.

I have been hurt too many times to count and I fear of being hurt again.

You walk over  to me, but I turn away.

You tell me that I can only turn my back for so long.

I tell you that I am scared to talk to a man because I have been hurt so much.

You tell me that its not going to be like that.

I just don’t know how ready I am for a relationship.

You have to understand what I have been through.

I know I need to trust you, I am just scared.
