Talk To Me

Welcome, my heart calls
     You
I care, my mind whispers
     To you

A wrong
A choice
Memories
     With all shades of pain
Moments
     With all shades of trials
Flashes
Done
Gone

Even the beauty that covers you
Cannot hide the hurt
     I see in you
Even the eyes that once shone brightly
     Are full of
Regrets
Confusion

Only the pillow that you lay on at night
Knows your secret tears
Only the blanket that you cling on at night
Hides your sobs

Fears
Won't let go

Insightful description of quiet time pain forever lurking in the corners of one's mind. Kind regards, Ian
