Talk, Talk

Seems more and more to me these days
Makes no difference what people say
They're more like boxes built to squawk
Just wanting to hear themselves talk

They talk out loud, things randomly
With little care who's listening
They go to town while in a crowd
Doesn't matter much who is around

With little care they're unaware
Of what others have to say out there
Thinking nothing else if not about themselves
With all the whistles, all the bells

A battle of the tongue that's often fought
As people love to hear themselves talk
Seems more and more to me these days
Makes no difference what people say

Yet if a person found themself stranded and alone, they would crave to hear someone speak. Life is taken for granted.

One way conversations never did work for me either Mike; shows that the other person doesn't really care what you have to say! ~Che :)
