Tale of the Night
Look at the moonlit sky with the stars suspended above,
we feel our bodies drift away like the flight of a dove.
But we see the night with evil and despair,
we treat it with dread and even fear.
We fill it with tales of horror made up of our lies,
and teach our children to cringe and cover thier eyes.
But the night is for lovers and to watch the stars above,
to hear the songs of crickets or for the peace that we love.
So when the day is turning gray and night begins to fall,
hold this time to your heart and listen to the nights call.
