Tale of Humanity

Beauty and serenity,
Earth was truly heavenly,
Mountains full of greenery,
Such wonderful scenery.

No sound seemed strange,
And nothing out of place,
But when humans started change,
This no longer was the case.

First the woods started burning,
The humans’ phase of “learning”,
Then mountains were shattered,
They created from what they gathered.

Where is the beauty and serenity?
Wasn’t earth already heavenly?
What happened to the greenery?
Why replace it with machinery?

Fortunately after some time,
Humans destroyed each other,
Everything returned to sublime,
After earth recovered.

Still if you go miles away,
And if you wouldn’t lose your way,
On the long and heavy road you’d find,
The remnants of humankind.
