Tale of Heartbreak
I may not be enough for you
But I am enough for me
Perhaps it was wrong from the start
Maybe I knew that
Although it wouldn’t last
I figured I could at least try
Whether it was for you or me
I have yet to realize
There is no one to blame
Other than myself of course
Do not let your heart shatter
Because the pain is not worth it
Another will replace me
She will be better for you
Because if I stayed
You would have been trapped
Nothing good can come from me
I now realize that
A waste of time I can be
I have wasted much of yours
Yet I do not fear for you
Because if you love someone
Such as I
You let them go
If they return it was fate
If not they will find another
As will I
So with love and care
I bid you farewell
Many doors are now open
I wish you well
