Taking the Risk

How about we set up in the dark
Just pitch a tent
Where the only sound is your heart
Somewhere we can't be found

Forgotton
But surely not lost
Hand in hand
Running from the quicksand
Running far from the frost

Just you and I
only me and you
no one to lie
nothing to do

How profound
To not be found
And not to hear a sound

Don't let go of my hand I plead
I followed you
You were the lead

Will you sing to me?
It's what you bring to me
Takes away that sting from me

Well I digress
I leave with no distress

Just hold my hand
And I'll hold yours
let's just lay here
just you and me
