Dancing through life Shaking my shoulders Loosening up my hips A sassy gypsy queen am I Taking no prisoners Enjoying my freedom Playing my tambourine Delighting the faeries Twirling skirts In a variety of colors Matching no one Surpassing myself. Caren, congratulations on your Honorable Mention Win in the Invitation to Play contest. I enjoyed turning into a Gypsy Pirate Queen with this poem. There were so many good poems that it got down to a just thanks standoff.
