Taking No Prisoners

Dancing through life
Shaking my shoulders
Loosening up my hips
A sassy gypsy queen am I

Taking no prisoners
Enjoying my freedom
Playing my tambourine
Delighting the faeries

Twirling skirts 
In a variety of colors
Matching no one
Surpassing myself.

Singing my truth
Competition on. 
Fire oozes from my soul
I am the gypsy pirate queen

There were so many good poems that it got down to a just thanks standoff.
