Taking Flight
On this day
A day of sigh
A wooden box
My body may lie
But Me myself
You will not find
In the ground
I won't be found
For I am no longer
Earthly bound
This I ask
Please don't cry
For this is the day
I learn to fly
With my maker
By my side
We'll meet again
By and by
If you believe
As like I
One day I'll teach you how to fly
So as I say my final goodbye
I assure you that I am fine
The wonders behold
Are beyond defy
But if you shall need me
I'm not hard to find
I'll be in the Great Divine
Showing others how to fly
Look real close and you shall find
Look with your heart instead of your eye
I am where the ocean meets the sky
With tho Lord
Learning to fly
