Taking Care of Me
I cannot concentrate on anything but me this week.
I am nurturing little Caren, as she’s right in front.
The committee is pushing her forward for hugs and kisses
And stuff. Do you know you can kiss yourself?
Just kiss your hand and then gently push the
Hand kisses all over your inner child’s face.
I’ve been having a Caren week, and it’s
Been so healing really.
It’s weird that I am still
Crying. The asthma is
Back though, and it feels
Like a boa constrictor
Is crushing my chest,
Then there’s that
Bundle of pain at
The base of my
Neck.
It’s
Just
Been a really
Bad, sad, bad, sad week.
Breathing
Is a big deal.
Breathe if you can.
And sleep if you can.
And love everyone you can.
That's the key, but I guess
my husband is right.
sometimes I have to stop
loving everyone else, and
love me. That's harder, but
imperative really.I'm hugging
myself now, to practice up.
