Taking a Selfie

He takes a selfie.
Eaten by a bear.
She takes a selfie.
Carried off screaming.
He takes a selfie.
Plunges to his death.
She takes a selfie,
Run over by a semi.
He takes a selfie.
Carried away by the flood waters.
Do any of the rest of you see a pattern here?

Taking a selfie falls into this category as well.

Same old face, never changing features, still every grasp of phone ends up in few more selfies...even after being aware of the life and security hazards! Awakening poem indeed:) Caren Krutsinger May 26, 2019 at 2:50 AM I know a young woman with darling children who never posts their photos on social media but posts a photo of her at the sink, in her pajamas, brushing her teeth, stirring a batch of pudding. It is crazy! Six or seven photos of herself every day.
