Takes My Breath Away

Through an open window, I felt the dying breeze of the morning as a curtain swayed in its rhythm. As a warm Spring day was rising in its wake and filled the room with the heavenly scents of Spring. I heard the sound of a pleasant giggle in the wind and as I looked I caught a glimpse of her spinning round and round as she dance her way across the field towards the meadow. I could not help but smile as it slowly sank in for mere moments before she came into the room kissed me on top of my head hugged me briefly and long enough to breathe in her scent. Before opening the window and leaving me alone once again at my desk working. Another of her subtle little ways of distracting me for my own good as it gets me and out of chair and walking about and always in pursuit of the most beautiful woman in the world. And on this occasion, I would have to stop and pick up some very carefully placed articles of clothing along the way to catching up to and finding the one who always takes my breath away.
