Taken

In the dark of the night your hand roam blindly,

searching me out. My mind wondered are you tucking me in,

or like the "BOogie Man" instilling fear or like thieves taking

what isn't yours?

As you pierced my innards, I fought hard to find my voice.

In the absence of protection- you hunt me down like wild game,

you search my cavity for all that was innocent & pure- with no

regard to my young fragile existence.

This is a game you muttered, I held captive my fluids for it was

as a herd of wildebeest escaping my insides, I became unhinged

from my core & disgusted, I was the an elephant in the room, Shhh-

I'm no longer ashame, but a voice that will not be denied/ be

silenced, GO AHEAD ASK ME, I DEAR YOU!!

Deep and a bit disturbing, but in a thought provoking way. Violation, retribution, and satisfaction ... what a vicious cycle. Great work.

Raw, heartbreaking, fragile emotion shines from the words, and most importantly a courage that won't be held down

This is so disturbing and raw, if this is your personal experience I am so sorry, no one should ever have to live like this. I am saying a prayer of healing. I am glad your voice has not been silenced.
