Taken

What I reluctantly gave,
you freely took
with no regard for the whole
person that I am.

A pledge quickly made
so easily broken. Left a
shattered heart with crimson
stains. Defenseless

I was left isolated
to mend some tattered remains
of a being not valued
a word. Speak out

Against all your conscience
you rendered me
useless and worthless.
Cast aside to wait.
