Take Your Hats Off
All hats don't fit all people
And all people don't wear hats;
For their pride is too but feeble;
Caught up in their radical reasons
For their pride is too big
And their hope is little
Swelled with big heads comes shames
Stop playing those games
Stop giving out names
Who? Are the nay sayers
You know they are to blame
Take your hats off when you enter a room
Take your hats off when your feeling misused
Take your hats off when you're accused
Take your hats off when you're dealing in your dirt
So the spirit of the Lord can move from the top of your head to the soul of your feet
When you stand before the Lord, take you hats off;
When you stand before God, better have them shoes off;
Your standing on HOLY grounds take your hats and shoes off;
When you're moving from discord, take you hats off
When you come unto the shores take your hats off
Teach every boy and girl every person of this world
to take, take your hats off;
When you stand before the Lord take, take your hats off;
Humble yourself be secured in the arms of the Lord;
You won't need your shoes no more for the grounds you stand on
Are HOLY grounds
And when the rain falls, and when the manna falls
None of it will hit your head, you won't get wet or feel a thing;
So just let it fall, let it rain
Just receive
Take your hats off
