Take you with me

Our minds are the initial storage for information gathered by our dear senses.
Yes, that's already given.
But have we ever wondered how it says longer than we expected?
Like how can it repeat certain memories from the past and scare our whole core to the bone?

It's like taking you with me to every phase of my life.
Even if you were long gone.
Gone as if the door you closed will never be re-opened once more.
Closed shut like those run-down thrift shops we used to play dress up without buying any.

This is messy. I know.
I wonder, when will I get to see you again.
How long will I keep talking and whispering between thin air hoping you'll hear me again?

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup, Kabayan. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed. (Free verse can characterize your poetry form...)
