Take the Time

We can show our love to the world for the world needs love We can live with kindness and love, the way Jesus did We can be the tower of strength for someone weaker Sharing ourselves , giving selflessly, the greatest gift that we can share with our fellow man Treasures need not be silver or gold Or an abundance of wealth to hold Treasures can be the precious moment And special memories of the past It is in helping a friend in need Or giving a hug when things are tough In knowing when to be there and when not It is taking the time instead of being blind To the need that stands at your door

I prefer treasures of friendship to those store biught gifts. I would rather spend time and make someone a gift from my heart than to give a cold one from a store. I do like gifts and such, but one from the heart is a sure winner every time! Beautiful words.

Such a beautiful expression of giving, of love and of sharing!! What a wonderful way to spend our Easter weekend, if all of us would reach out a loving hand. Nicely written, Phyllis!! Love, Carrie
