Take My Word On This

“TAKE MY WORD ON THIS”

love without proof
is a mockery.
if they need a chance
to prove it,
question it.
love is a little girl
who fell off her bike
and curses towards the sky.
if your love is trashed,
the chance to prove
or get proof
will never come.
impatience rises, it is the
cleanest form of hatred.
you're the hours
as she stays the minutes.
expectation of proof,
she'll rip you of her purpose
on the same clock.
as days pass,
resentment will find her.
as you wait for proof,
your soul deteriorates.
in the darkness of hell,
apprehension grabs you by
the balls.
you'll move onward and upwards
as you both are
tested by those searching
for disgusting satisfaction.
too many lovers,
not enough others,
balloons of hope with no
string to keep grip.
$@!& your love but never
love who you $@!&.
take the picture and blur
the shot.
even in the most pointless
frame,
there is a subject.
daylight or moonlight,
proof is detail.
the devil is in detail and
detail doesn't believe
in God.
