Take My Hand
My Child,
Take my hand and don't be afraid.
I want you to see the world, the beauty of our world.
I will guide you every step of the way.
I want you to feel the sunshine
that the sun brings down in the morning.
I want you to feel the mist
that the moon and air gives out at night.
Take my hand and don't be afraid.
I want you to feel the wind that gives life to the world.
I will hold your hand as you walk your way.
I want you to feel the warmth
of the sunset at twilight.
I want you to feel the dew of the trees,
flowers and grasses at night.
Take my hand as you wish
And never worry about tomorrow.
Because I will be with you today
and each day of your life.
I will be your eyes to view things that you cannot see.
I will be your ears to hear things that you cannot heed.
I will be your voice to speak out the beautiful words
that you cannot utter.
I will be your light to illuminate the darkness
within your sight.
Hold on and stay strong.
With my spirit you will never go wrong.
You will never stumble or fall
As I promise, for you I will stand tall.
I am your Father.
