Take My Hand
Come with me and take my hand.
Let’s walk barefooted in the sand.
We’ll talk and dance, laugh and run,
You and me and the setting sun.
Come to me and kiss my lips.
I’ve waited so long for this first kiss.
Take me in your arms. Hold me closer.
Body next to mine, set my heart on fire.
The sea. The sky. One man. One woman.
Let’s pretend we’re on a desert island.
No hope for salvation. No wish for it.
Forget the whole world. To hell with it.
Come with me and take my hand.
Let’s walk barefooted in the sand.
We’ll talk and dance, laugh and run,
You and me and the setting sun.
