Take Me With You
you are surrounded
by small words
with big meanings.
you are almost
too cute.
all letters float
in the air
with surprising care
around your image.
I see them.
I hear them.
They speak to me
in tongues
I cannot understand
but I listen
because
they speak of you.
Someday
I hope to
understand them
speak their language
so I too
can float around you;
carried in the wake
of all the things you take
for granted
