Take Me There

Where are you walking to
Do you know the road you're on?
Does an unknown voice guide your steps
Or do the hands of angels
Pull you forward

Take me there,
To a place I've never been
See sights I've never seen
Colors brighter, winds are warmer
Let me walk with you
As burdens just fall away
Sweet innocence instead of fear
Take me there.

It was your hand I held
Guiding me this far
If not for your eyes,
I would have missed these footsteps,
The ones that hold my feet so lovingly
Someday this path
Will meet again with yours
And I can't wait...

Take me there, never to walk alone
Never again to search for
a place to call home
Take me there,
Strong against the winds that blow
Catch a rainbow
After storms have cleared the air
Take me there

Whisper directions in my ear
On faith, I will follow anywhere
As gentle hands pull me on
Ready, I whisper
Take me there
