Take Me Seriously Lord

Take me seriously, Lord when you call me that day employ me as sanitary officer in the bathrooms of saints that I may share some debris of holiness I fear that my life here has been dark and tainted no amount of good deeds can clean it let me work as servant of the holy that their goodness may contaminate me The talents you gave me I have used selfishly on this earth Let me scotch my desires in repentance That I reach you even by heaven’s ventilators Take me seriously, Lord My soul is desperate for bliss Let me enjoy even droppings of goodness That falls under tables of holy ones in heaven
