Take In the Surf

I shade my eyes, the beach is white The tide does roll, an awesome sight I smell the air, salty and fresh I rub my toes in sandy mesh Blanket, umbrella, set to go The emerald plain, the waves do flow Beneath the boardwalk, gulls in play Finding their meal beneath the clay Beach balls and surf boards, color fun And all enjoy the summer sun Seashells, sand dollars, 'long the beach A drink, a dog, within my reach Take in the surf, take in your soul Release your cares and soon be whole

This reminds me of the summer at the Jersey Shore. You did a better job at describing such a place better than the Drifters. The way it has been cold outside is making me long for the summer.
