Take Heed My Son

My son take care in the issues of love And do not let beauty erode your eyes Be impartial in your every approach Treat a slave as a beautiful queen If she treats you as a honorable king A queen as a slave if she does likewise Love is better served in reciprocity An eye for an eye makes us both blind in love and balance the scale of feelings Not every heaven comes in grandeur Not every hell comes with a scorch Just as not every demons are ugly Beauty is nothing but a faulty compass That leads a man to the wrong direction And rest him in a heartbroken home Relationships are like Christian churches Even the devils attend with a holy attitude Sweet deceitful praises and worships Bible in the right hand crucifix on the left And powerful verses in their tongues To twist the real intentions of the heart Once again I will say take heed my son For love is as subtle as serpentine So it is as plumes in a woman’s heart
