Take a Load Off Annie

Take A Load Off Annie

We each form our little circles to gather around our little cliques
Loose lips sinks ships take some time to move those hips
As a student of the arts let us help one another to embark
A stone pavement if you look closer looks marble in texture

With a fever pitch noise we can each respect the texture
Out of sadness there lies mere madness
Take a load off Annie take a load for free
A song in our heat should light the spark of what it is were waiting for

There is a line being drawn in the sand you understand
Shelter lies dormant amidst it's beckoning plow
We shower the heads of people still it's gravitational pull brings some down
We hire personal lawyers to feed our greedy hearts & lives

Nature is battered with the earth crust swell
It's in God's hand that we may dwell
As in some caged fury through silence & pride
Just thank the good Lord above that I'm still alive

A promise that was made in the dark has now come to it's fullest light
Through blackened shadows of sullen mast
We should all just leave politics alone
Shattered by the mere silence as far as you may roam.
