Take a Left On Larceny Lane By Free Cee

TAKE A LEFT ON “LARCENY LANE” Yes It’s still me No one was able to kill me Not thus far anyway I don’t care about age, gender, smart or dumb So long as they could afford top of the line rum I ring many bells Many bells have I rung I’ve been ringing bells since I was far too young So I ring the bell to a ragged shanty A stick thin old lady and a man in misery answered the door I told them how I was starving and SWORE I was poor I took their funds even though they had no money for DEBTS BUT I AIN’T A PHOOL WHO MAKES INDISCRIMINATE BETS One must learn to at all times to be discreet And if they catch me stealing I just get to meet old friends IN JAIL OR sleep on the street © 2011.…Phreepoetree ~free cee!~
