Take a Good Look At Our Stars

Take a good look at our Stars
Your next stop it is Mars
Where you wont find any Bars
They no longer travel in Cars
So i hear you Ask
What is Mars appeal
Why the big Deal
Let me enlighten you Freind
For me Mars represents the Light at the End
A Prisim around which Earths Darkness can Bend
Gods way of prelonging the End
Of A future he did not Intend

So I guess you might be a sci fi fan. I like how this "feels" like sci fi or fantasy writing. Thanks for your comments today, Chris. LUv, Andrea

Wow! This is terrific, Christopher! I think we're on the same wavelength in our writing. I wrote a few poems about Mars as well and James Fraser (soup member) writes about astronomy often. As for the adventure at sea, I haven't written about it. But maybe it would make a good short story or narrative poem. I still get chills thinking of the fear I had that night. Then waking up in a few inches of water with a big cabin cruiser -- well, you're right. I should try writing about it.
