Take a Deep Breath

A few days away, if you need one or a week from here, take one. I had to slow down, as my eyes were crossing! It is as refreshing as a scented spring breeze. To discover there are other things! I understand, the race to be at the top. And the desire to have a gold trophy, too. But, maybe it is time for some good ice cream and a visit to the local zoo. I can assure you, your true friends will be anxiously awaiting you. Happy Spring! 4/21/2022

Dearest Eve, you know I really do cherish your poetry, comments, soupmails and most loving heart! I feel as if I know you. I could go for some raspberry ripple ice cream, for sure. The zoo would be phenomenal. I always carry you in my heart! I know others taking time off as well. With butterfly wings and Roses, Pangie.xo

We all need to take a breather at times Pangie and my time is right now, looking after my husband Alan, aiding his recovery from sepsis which as everyone knows is a very serious illness. Taking a dip in the soup when and if I can. Wise words, thanks Pangie… Belle

Dear friend Belle! I certainly can relate to convalescing. But the pressure on a caregiver is very high. My Mum had several strokes. We took care of her at home. That was a24 hour a day job. When she had a heart attack in bed, I administered CPR! Frightening, I like your expression, “taking a dip, when I can! )) That describes me. I still cherish people, even tho’ they may not hear from me. God bless you and Alan.xo He watches over you. Hugs, Pangie..
