Synathroesmic Cat

Oh, fickle friendly fearful feline,
ne'er a pet be so sublime -
playful, licking, leaping, purring,
even while you're sleeping stirring;
watchful with a wary eye,
careful cunning in disguise.
Our fussy flip and fuzzy friend,
we're thankful that you condescend
and bless us with your loving being
though the dog is disagreeing.
We kneel before your regal paws
with which you shred and kneed and claw,
but with that warm and funny face -
a faithful friend we can't replace.

You have nailed it !! Every cat we have ever "belonged to", was our faithful, condescending friend who blessed us to the end ! Love this sweet poem !!
