Symphony of the Sunrise

As the dark world starts to waken
you can almost hear the symphony of color
that floods the sky as the sun begins to rise
As the dawn breaks, the world begins
to wake up from the sleep of darkness
the birds sing their morning songs,
the people begin to make many sounds
as they awake and start their routines
It almost sounds like a full orchestra as
noises infiltrate the day, become louder
as the light becomes brighter and turns
into the cacophony of life
The day has begun as the beautiful
symphony of life plays it song

I like the visual and auditory crescendo of the orchestra in your poem, the brightness and loudness together. I also like the image of the sky flooding ( a painting term as well as the watery inundation). J :)

Dear kathleen nice to see you again in winners list. You have a way with words and writing a way that connects with readers and we can resonate. I really loved your opening here especially “ you can almost hear the symphony of color that floods the sky as the sun begins to rise” love that! Pleasure reading! Congratulations on your win!
