Symphony

Resplendent in satin evening wear
On a glorious pedestal in the sky
Awaiting a date with destiny

Luscious moon heavenly glides
Dancing on scented air,
Stairway of brilliant stars

Symphony of the night
Wrapped in lush velvet
Sprinkled with stardust

I yearn to climb that starry stairway
To reach out and caress its loveliness
As it exquisitely floats by

Eyes entranced, soul captivated
Awed by its magnificence
Seated upon the throne of God's creation
