Roses are symbols
Love in real life
Its thorn
Its spike tip leaf
Its hard stem
Its gentle petals
Speaks the giver's intent
Smiling heart that accept
Both sparking eyes that yield
In a moment of time, golden
A celebration, two hearts that mend.
