Swirls

Thoughts like calligraphy
Seemingly effortless
Natural flow and flair
The smell of autumn leaves
Visable laughter from your mouth
Wisps of calligraphy
We both knew
Did I turn you into this
Or did you turn me
Not enough silence to let me forget
For years
Bringing back the leaves
That crisp air
But the warmth between us
is it all gone
Or am I just to forget
Maybe I just chose not to notice
The iciness
The leaves were rotting after all

This is a poem that I have been writing for years but just can't capture the emotion that I am trying to put in it.
