Swinging On a Star

Swing in,swing out, To the world I shout, Spread peace and love, That's what I'm about, From a star so far, I see hatred and war, Hunger and death, Leaves it scars, New life unfolds, Dark secrets untold, For fame and power, Many loose their soul, I kick the swing back, Tense,I can't relax, I see wars being planned, Men on the attack, Nuclear explosions, Millions dead,for what, Because of rumours, Leaders,stick to the facts, I jump from my swing, Slide to earth on the beam of my star, I got a message for you, God said,'Peace n' Love, Will conquer,hatred n' war'....

Hey, I looked up Roach Busters and they went out of business YEARS AGO! hahahah...That was a hoot...how funny!...The idea of actually swinging on a star and showing the motion thru your entry is quite original..don't think anyone else came up with these powerful images...Very nice write, Poetic Palmer! :) gwendolen
