Swimming For Your Life

life at times feels so hard
so much going against you
everything around you so dirty
looking for a filter to be true

Everywhere you look is clogged up
like all is blocked just like sin
effecting every strand of life
everywhere you look is in a spin

There must be more to life
this echo is heard all over the place
but only in eternal truth, this is found
in the holy scriptures, you receive grace

So get on these swim trunks
whether it's your breaststroke
or even to crawl be like a fish
give it your all, just go for broke

Your reward will be worth it
live for God always forever
leave behind that awful pollution
drink in the living water, now that's clever
